Bimbi Insieme, step by step

1Account and family

1. Create your personal account.
2. Open the email received from Bimbi Insieme and verify the address: verification is required in Cloud mode.
3. Read and accept the current Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
4. The first parent creates the family; the second uses the family code received.
5. Select Father or Mother correctly.
6. Do not share the code with unauthorized people.

2Calendar

1. Configure Week A and Week B.
2. Choose the start date and first week.
3. Review the preview and confirm.
4. Use Month or Week to view parenting days.
5. Approved exceptions, including day requests and swaps, are highlighted with a dedicated background and ↔.

3Request a day and Swap days

Request a day is used when you want to have one or more children on a date assigned to the other parent.

1. Tap + → Request a day.
2. Choose the other parent's date and the children involved.
3. The recipient can only accept or reject; counterproposals are not available.
4. If accepted, the date moves to the requester for the selected children; if rejected, the calendar does not change.

Swap days works as before: select the days being given and received, and the other parent can approve, reject or counter. A counterproposal changes only the days being given; the received days stay fixed.

4Events

1. Tap + → Event.
2. Enter title, date, time and child; this remains available on the Free plan.
3. Scheduled reminders are part of Premium.
4. Recurring events are part of Premium. Weekly and biweekly series can include several weekdays in one series, for example Tuesday + Thursday.
5. You can set a different time for each selected weekday, for example Tuesday 18:00 and Thursday 19:00.
6. When editing a weekly recurrence, choose This week only to change just the selected week or This and following weeks to update the pattern from that week onward. Earlier weeks stay unchanged.
7. Changes and cancellations remain visible to both parents; Premium also sends device push notifications.

5Expenses

1. Record and edit expenses already incurred on the Free plan.
2. Proposing a future expense and approving it are Premium features.
3. A proposal is not included in totals until it is approved.
4. Advanced summaries, categories and reimbursements are Premium features.
5. When a reimbursement is paid, Premium lets you mark it as reimbursed.

6Notifications

1. The in-app Notification Center and badges remain available on Free.
2. Device push notifications are Premium.
3. With Premium you can choose which push categories to receive.
4. If in doubt, open Diagnostics → Full check.

7AI Assistant and voice

1. On first use, enable the AI Assistant separately after reading the dedicated notice. You can disable it later from Plan and account.
2. Open Ask Bimbi Insieme.
3. Type or tap 🎤 Speak.
4. If essential information is missing, the assistant asks for it instead of inventing it.
5. Review the preview and tap Edit if you want to correct fields.
6. Confirm only when all data is correct.

Example: “Add a medical appointment on Wednesday at 4 pm for both children and remind me the day before.”

8Backup, privacy and account

1. Export the calendar as .ics whenever you want.
2. Export the family JSON backup.
3. Use Export my data for a copy including account and family data.
4. Privacy and Terms are always available under Plan and account.
5. To delete the account, use the dedicated function and read the preview showing the impact on shared data.

9Holiday calendar

Open Family → Holidays and vacations. Italian national holidays are preloaded. For each row choose F or M; tap the selected button again to clear it.

For the period, use Holiday only, Holiday + day before, Holiday + day after, Holiday + before and after or Whole week. From/To can always be edited manually. Finally choose whether the rule applies only to the displayed year, every year or alternating years, then send the changes to the other parent for approval.

For local holidays, school vacations or other periods use + Local holiday.

10Free and Premium

Free: shared calendar, one-off events and recording/editing expenses already incurred.

Premium: push notifications, reminders, recurring events, day requests, swaps and counterproposals, expense approvals, advanced summaries/reimbursements, holidays, advanced calendar features, text/voice AI Assistant and advanced exports.

Premium applies to the whole family. The initial trial lasts 30 days; when it ends, data remains available and Free features continue to work.

Security, privacy and support

Cloud mode requires email verification and acceptance of the current Privacy Policy and Terms. The AI Assistant remains optional and requires separate activation that can be withdrawn from Plan and account.

Since v38, shared saves go through an authenticated Cloud Function with plan checks and anti-abuse protections. App Check is prepared and will be enabled gradually in monitoring before enforcement.
